FOUNDATION DEGREE IN COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE AND DEVELOPMENT

This exciting qualification is for people:

·       Who work in the voluntary or community sector, either as paid staff or volunteers, who would like to expand their horizons

·       Who work in local government and the public sector that are involved in working with the community

·       Who are involved in regeneration initiatives

·       Who wish to combine study with other commitments  The Foundation Degree is both an academic and a vocational qualification, and it values prior experience. The degree consists of 9 modules over 3 years, covering a professionally relevant curriculum. It includes study skills, and prepares for further study to full honours level. It is flexible – you can gain credits for individual modules and build up to a full degree.

WHERE IS IT BASED?

·       It is delivered at North Warwickshire College.

HOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED?

·       Part-time, modular programme

·       Work-based learning, including projects

·       Strong emphasis on personal support

·       Flexible delivery, including seminars, workshops, tutorials, and professional portfolio building

·       Core and optional modules

WHEN DOES IT START?

·       In October each year.
