ADEPT’s AGM conference was a great success this year with over 50 policy makers, elected Councillors and key members of the Voluntary and Statutory sectors participating in a lively and well-considered debate. Taking into account the many recent initiatives, legislative changes and policies, the theme of the debate was

The Moving Forward Conference is hosted by Ashram Housing Association in partnership with the Policy Research Institute at the University of Wolverhampton.

The conference brings together leading organisations in the field of domestic violence and is supported by ACPO, Crown Prosecution Services, the Housing Corporation, Saheli, Shelter, Supporting People, W.A.I.T.S., Wiltshire Police,
Womankind Worldwide and Women’s Aid.

The conference will develop practitioner understandings and policy debate around the delivery of culturally competent domestic violence services in increasingly diverse communities.

An improved environment for Warwickshire which respects biodiversity and the limits of the planet’s natural resources, while preserving them for the benefit of future generations

How would an Assembly help to get my voice heard?

The Assembly will increase communication and information being shared between existing networks and representatives to reinforce the voice of the voluntary sector. It will also give Voluntary & Community Sector representatives on Boards and Committees a clear message from the sector.

Come and have a go at this fun 1 day volunteering project taking and editing digital photos. We’ll then frame your best shots and donate them to community organisations for other people to enjoy.
